SEBI’s Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF) and RBI’s IT governance directions expect regular, independent VAPT with strict closure timelines. We test trading platforms, banking apps, APIs and networks the way an attacker would, help your team close every finding on time, and arrange the CERT-In empanelled audit report through our partner.
Share a few details and get clear next steps, a timeline and a fixed quote.
In banking and capital markets, the costly bugs are in business logic: placing an order on someone else’s account, bypassing a withdrawal limit, or reading another client’s holdings through an API. We test these flows by hand alongside infrastructure, cloud and segmentation checks, and track every finding against the CSCRF and RBI timelines your auditors follow.

“Their penetration testing methodology was thorough and aligned with OWASP standards. The final report was detailed, actionable, and easy for our developers to understand.”
“Xtreme InfoSec identified critical vulnerabilities that other vendors missed, with excellent remediation support.”
At least once a financial year, planned from the first quarter. Entities whose systems are notified as Protected Systems or Critical Information Infrastructure need two cycles a year, and exchanges keep qualified stock brokers on a half-yearly cycle.
The report is due within one month of completing the test, findings must be closed within three months of submission, and revalidation must be done within five months of the test.
CSCRF audits must be carried out by a CERT-In empanelled IS auditing organisation. Xtreme InfoSec is not empanelled: we run the testing and help you fix the findings, and our CERT-In empanelled partner verifies them and issues the report. How CERT-In audits work →
RBI’s Master Direction on IT Governance, Risk, Controls and Assurance Practices (November 2023) asks for vulnerability assessment of critical and customer-facing systems at least every six months and penetration testing at least every twelve months, by independent, trained testers.
We agree test windows, use UAT or test accounts where possible, and avoid destructive tests on production. Order and transfer tests use controlled accounts and small values.
