Online stores hold what attackers want: customer accounts, addresses, wallets and loyalty points. India’s DPDP Act requires reasonable security safeguards, with penalties of up to ₹250 crore, and CERT-In requires breaches to be reported within 6 hours. We test your store, apps and APIs the way an attacker would and help your team fix every finding before the next sale.

Retail attacks are rarely clever exploits. They are a coupon applied ten times, an order ID that shows another customer’s address, or an OTP login with no rate limit. We test these journeys by hand alongside cloud, admin and third-party script checks, and give you evidence of the security safeguards the DPDP Act expects.

Not by name. Section 8(5) requires reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, with penalties of up to ₹250 crore. Regular VAPT, with findings fixed and retested, is one of the clearest ways to show those safeguards exist.
The DPDP Rules were notified on 13 November 2025. Most obligations, including security safeguards and breach notices, apply 18 months later, around May 2027. Testing now gives you time to fix what we find.
Yes. Under CERT-In’s 2022 directions, data breaches, data leaks and attacks on e-commerce applications must be reported to CERT-In within 6 hours of noticing them, and logs must be kept for 180 days in India.
Usually yes, at a reduced scope, and the scripts on your payment pages still matter. Under RBI rules, merchants also may not store customers’ card details. Our checkout tests cover the flows and scripts around your payment page; your gateway or PCI assessor confirms your scope.
